Indian will become developed nation by 20147: Railway Minister

Ashwini Vaishnaw, the minister of railways, emphasized on Saturday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to turning India into a developed nation by 2047.

He stated that the purpose of the Vikasit Bharat Sankalpa Yatra, which is being held in Veeluparthi, Vepada mandal, Vizianagaram district, is to raise public awareness of the welfare programmes that the central government is putting in place for the populace.

Ashwini Vaishnaw paid a visit to the S. Kota constituency on that day. Kothavalasa would be transformed into a top-notch train station, he declared. He promised that action will be done at the S. Kota railway station to stop the Visakhapatnam-Kirandul Express train.

According to the minister of railways, a substantial increase has been made in the money allotted for Andhra Pradesh railway projects. “While a budget for railway projects had been Rs 800 crore in combined AP, AP is not getting Rs 8,000 crore,” he said.

Deputy Chief Minister and Minister in charge of the district Budi Mutyala Naidu stated that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is offering numerous welfare and development programs to the people of the state with the assistance of the central government.

According to district collector S. Nagalakshmi, 156 villages have been covered by the Vikasit Bharat Sankalpa Yatra thus far.

Among those in attendance were Rajya Sabha member G.V.L. Narasimha Rao and chairman of the zilla parishad, M. Srinivasa Rao.
