Jennifer Lopez to act in Kiss of the Spider Woman

Jennifer Lopez is set to star in a movie musical adaptation of Kiss of the Spider Woman.

Originally a 1976 Manuel Puig novel, Kiss of the Spider Woman was first adapted to the screen as a movie in 1985 starring William Hurt, Raul Julia, and Sonia Braga. The work was later adapted into a Broadway musical, which first premiered in 1993.
